  • This is a black tea flavoured with bergamot peel oil. It is named after the Earl Charles Grey, a British Prime Minister in the 1830s. The story goes that he received a gift of tea and bergamot oranges from diplomats in China and the tea absorbed the flavour of bergamot during transport. The tea tastes very fragrant, citrusy and a little bit sweet.
